Ancient Greek Medusa Magnet

In Greek mythology, Medusa ("guardian, protectress") was a Gorgon, a chthonic female monster whose gaze turned onlookers into stone. She was beheaded by the hero Perseus, who thereafter used her head as a weapon until giving it to the goddess Athena to place on her shield.

In recent times, Medusa has become symbolic of female rage and anger. She has also been admired for her strength and bravery. It makes a great gift for strong and independent women.

This magnet is made of casting stone. Sizes are approximate and may vary based on the magnets shape and design.

Approx. 70mm (7 cm) diameter
