Greekshops.com and its staff appreciates your business and will make every effort to provide a pleasant shopping experience. The terms and conditions below explain how we process our orders and how we handle returns, exchanges, and refunds. Do note that unlike other stores we purchase most of our products from Greece where manufacturer sales terms and return policies are quite different from the US. As a result our policies may be different from other US retail outfits. Please review them carefully to ensure that you agree with our sales terms and conditions.

All use of this site, including the placing of any order at GreekShops.com, indicates your acceptance of the terms and conditions listed below. Please read the following policies, terms and conditions before submitting an order to Greekshops.com. These terms and conditions shall supersede all policies published on past web documents, sales receipts, and emails. Greekshops.com reserves the right to make changes to this site and these terms and conditions at any time without notice.

GreekShops.com and its staff values your privacy. Your personal information is for use by GreekShops.com staff in order to serve you. This information is kept on a secure server to protect it from outside parties, and is information used for the limited purpose of processing your order(s). Information may also be used for statistical purposes, to improve our web site and services to you, to administer our site, and to notify you of products or special offers that may be of interest to you. Your personal information will not be sold or shared with third parties.

Your emailed receipt of an order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. Greekshops.com offers products that may originate overseas and are subject to currency fluctuations, and shipping delays. As a result, item availability, shipping schedule, and prices are subject to change at any time, without notice. Greekshops.com reserves the right to limit quantities, and to decline the acceptance of any order for any reason. Greekshops.com reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order, without prior notice to you, to supply less than the quantity ordered of any item and refund the purchase price for the undelivered items.

All orders placed will be thoroughly researched before shipping, in accordance with the policies set by GreekShops.com Credit and Fraud Avoidance Department. GreekShops.com may require additional information and/or verification before accepting and processing any order.

CREDIT CARDS Return to previous page

Greekshops.com accepts all major credit cards, and there is no surcharge for using your credit card to make a purchase. All transactions are in US dollars and processed by a US Bank. International orders will be charged in US dollars and the actual charge depends on the daily US dollar conversion rate for your currency.Please be sure to provide the exact billing address and telephone number as recorded with your credit card issuing bank. We will ship to an alternate address only if the billing address is on file with your credit card issuing bank. Incorrect information may cause a delay in the processing of your order.

All orders are charged to the credit card you indicate at the time of your purchase. Although 90% of all orders are shipped within 24-48 hours from the time of purchase, you will also be charged for items on backorder. Greekshops.com carries over 5000 products and there is always a possibility that an item you requested is not in stock at the time you make your purchase. In order to track availability of purchased products, place orders, and expedite the processing of your order in general, your order must be fully paid at the time you place it. If you do not want to be charged for backordered items please indicate that in the Special Instructions box during checkout. In this case we will credit your account for the backordered items and remove them from your order. Unfortunately we will not be able to ship backordered items if you do not agree to the full payment of your order at the time you place your online order.


ORDER CANCELLATION Return to previous page

Any order submitted through this website, if in stock, will ship immediately and cannot be cancelled. If the item is not in stock the order may be cancelled within seven days from the date of purchase at the request of the client by calling (310) 581-5059 or by sending an email to [email protected]. Charge backs from credit card issuing banks are subject to the above policies. 


BACKORDERS Return to previous page

Greekshops.com will accept orders for out of stock items. If an item in your order is not in stock, it will be placed on backorder and shipped to you when it becomes available. Shipping charges are non-refundable. Most products are produced in Greece and therefore shipping delays may occur. If you expect an item to arrive by a particular date please advices us at the time of order and a member of our staff will discuss alternate choices or shipping options. A backorder may be canceled at any time prior to shipping. Backorder cancellations exclude greek costumes, religious icons, and special order items which are marked on our web site. In stock items cannot be canceled after order completion. We cannot cancel orders that are in transit from us to you.


RETURN POLICY Return to previous page

No returns are accepted beyond 30 days from date of purchase. Orders placed in November and December are eligible for an additional 30-day return window (60 days max). All returns are subject to approval after contacting the GreekShops.com Customer Service department at (310) 581-5059 or by emailing us at [email protected]. RETURNS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL BY OUR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Our customer service will send you instructions on where and how to return your purchase for a refund of its purchase price. Please note that returns that do not include a Return Authorization Number on the Address Label, will be refused. Returns should be sent to:

Shipping costs are not refundable except for defective items or items sent in error. Defective items will be exchanged for the same items. Defective returns that are found to be non-defective are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

DO NOT DISCARD ANY PACKAGING OR INVOICES UNTIL YOU ARE COMPLETELY SATISFIED WITH THE PRODUCTS SHIPPED. ITEMS RETURNED WITHOUT THE ORIGINAL MANUFACTURER'S PACKAGING, OR DAMAGED PACKAGING MAY BE REFUSED OR RETURNED AND WILL BE SUBJECT TO THE RETURN POSTAGE COST.

All our products are sold with our 30-day guarantee against defects. Defective merchandise will be replaced at our discretion. We will gladly answer presale questions on any product but there are NO RETURNS on Software, Food items, Magazine Subscriptions, Olympic Collectibles (pins, coins, etc.), Gold Jewelry, Gift Certificates, Flower Deliveries, Traditional Greek Costumes, and Media (Music CDs, Books, Videos, DVDs).

All non-defective, unopened returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

Shipping, insurance, and handling charges are not refundable. It is recommended that returns are shipped insured, as Greekshops.com assumes no liability for lost or damaged return shipments. Save your tracking numbers, as they can prove invaluable if your return is lost in transit to us. Your purchase must be returned with shipping pre-paid.

Returns for refund will void all discounts and promotions that were applied at the time of order based on order contents and totals. If a free shipping option was used, shipping costs will be deducted from the refund.

All products must be in "as-new" condition, in original packaging.

EXCHANGES Return to previous page

We will gladly exchange apparel and hats for different sizes. You will be responsible however for paying our postage cost for resending you the exchanged item. SHIPPING POLICY Return to previous page

Shipping charges are calculated based on the total weight of all items in your order. The shipping cost charged at the time of purchase represents an estimate using standard Air Mail or US Priority Mail. Requests for Express Mail Service or special handling will be billed separately based on published rates plus a small shipping and handling fee.

If a backordered item is cancelled, Greekshops.com will refund the difference in shipping charges from the items shipped and the freight charged.

Shipping charges are non-refundable.

An additional charge of $5.00 will be charged to your credit card for any refused or returned (as "undeliverable") shipment.

Choosing Overnight or 2-Day Delivery does not mean your order will be delivered 1 or 2 days from the time you place your order. Selecting either of these shipping options simply means that you will receive your order 1-2 days after your order has been verified and processed by our Order Processing Department. Every effort is made to process all orders within 24 hours after receiving an order, but same-day shipping is not guaranteed. Greekshops.com reserves the right to ship packages "best way" according to the shipper's delivery schedules.

Note: Please keep in mind that our distribution centers do not process or ship orders on weekends and/or holidays.

Greekshops.com only charges sales tax on shipments to California. You, the customer, are responsible for any and all unpaid sales taxes.

As Greekshops.com is not the manufacturer of any product we sell, we make no representations, guarantees or warranties of any kind, either expressed or implied, and assume no liability for any financial loss or damage caused by a product purchased from us. The sole and exclusive maximum liability to Greekshops.com arising from any products sold on this site shall be the price of the product ordered, if found liable. In no event shall Greekshops.com, its directors, officers, employees and/or representatives be liable for special, indirect, consequential, or punitive damages relating to the compatibility of products sold.

TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS Return to previous page

In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers, Greekshops.com shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for products listed at the incorrect price without prior notification. Greekshops.com shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and the order is canceled, Greekshops.com shall immediately issue a credit to the credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.
