Welcome to the Lent Collection! This book was published at the suggestion of His Grace Bishop Methodios of Boston with the hope that it will be a helpful source and guide in the preparation of Lenten meals. Proceeds from the sale of this book will be used to support the philanthropic ministries of the Diocese of Boston.

To accommodate the various fasting periods in the church calendar, this collection of over 450 recipes includes strict-fast recipes as well as choices for fasting days which allow fish and dairy products. A Table of Fasting Days (located on the following page) is included as a guide for selecting appropriate recipes for all types of fasting days throughout the year.
