This book is divided in two parts. The first explores, analyzes, justifies and introduces the history and art of ancient Olympia as well as the Olympic ideal. The second part is dedicated exclusively to the Olympic games from 1896 until today. Posters and emblements of the Olympic games are illustrated accordingly.
