Johnny Maniatis, proud bearer of a "greekest of greek" last name and an americanized first name appears to be the face of the state of the country he was born in. Between triumph and destruction, wealth and poverty, bliss and misery. This morning appears to be turning into another regular day at the office for him. Chances are he will go to the office, joke around with Georgia, his girlfriend of seven years, wonder what his seventeen year old daughter is doing, he will flirt with any female he finds, he will bedazzle his advertising clients with empty talk, and in the evening he will dine luxuriously, drink heavily and then sleep and dream sweet dreams. But chance is not known as the mother of coincidence for nothing. He walks into the office and Georgia very early reminds him that her biological clock is ticking and she wants to have a child with him. NOW! His daughter, young sweet Artemis, gets arrested for theft the day before she appears in court from her last arrest for theft. She seems to be on her way to jail. The advertising company he works for ir on the bring of filling for bankruptcy, his main client, the maker of the most recognizable name tambons and pads in the market, is desserting him. His loan approval is hitting a snug in the bank channels, and as if that was not enough, his know-it-all-never-wrong-typical-despotic greek mother shows up at the office.
Murder? Suicide? Abduction? Who knows. Certainly not the cops that get the emergency call...
